On entering, turning to the left, you find yourself in a 60 square metre living-dining area with impressive 6-metre-high windows. The Atlantic stretches endlessly to the horizon.
An open kitchen with a large American refrigerator and ice dispenser, and a cooking “island” that leaves nothing to be desired, combined with a dining table seating eight, and a cosy living area with an open fire and a large flat-screen TV with integrated DVD player, has every holiday maker relaxing. From every corner the magnificent Atlantic Ocean!
Just a few steps up take you up to a semi-open gallery. A retreat for reading, or if necessary, to work a little. Here too, you will be entranced by the endless ocean panorama. Besides this, another TV with a PlayStation 4 and a lot of games, dvds and books are here to be used in this spacious lounge area. Should eight people come to the house, two adults can easily sleep here in their own private space (king size bed, 1.8 x 2.0 metres). Naturally a good wifi connection is available everywhere in the house.
At the back of the living “cube” there is a large store room including an additional refrigerator-freezer. The technical room with washing machine and drier is attached to this.
The large sliding glass doors of the living area open onto the first spacious terrace, perfect for enjoying splendid sunsets – with a glass of champagne in your hand? With a little luck a pair of sea eagles or a flock of storks may glide above or some dolphins or a whale may cut their way through the water.
Go down a few steps to the left of the entrance to two further bedrooms (each 21 square metres), both with an ensuite bathroom including a“rain” shower and an individual terrace. The moment you open your eyes in the morning you again see the ocean – and this continues even while showering or cleaning your teeth. Both rooms have a king-size bed and a built-in robe, and there is also a guest toilet in this area.
On the floor above this bedroom area is the showpiece, the master suite of 45 square metres. This includes a walk-in-robe, perfect for taking time to consider what you would like to wear for the day. This spacious suite is completed with a king-size bed and sitting area. The large, roofed balcony is reached from here through the glass sliding door. The turquoise ocean shimmers in the light from its every corner. You can also enter this balcony from the ensuite bathroom that has a free-standing bath and a shower that makes showering a wonderful experience.
The beach is a comfortable 300 metres walk.
This palm-studded garden property is on a slight slope, offering various places to relax.
There is the 9 by 5 metre heated salt water swimming pool, surrounded by a 100 square metres of timber decking with luxury sun lounges, just inviting one to sunbathe. Or the shady Cabana, a half-open beach hut with a straw roof, complete with a small kitchen and a Weber BBQ. A further outdoor shower and WC complete this niche.
Hidden in the lower part of the garden, the warm outside Jacuzzi spa with its bubbling water awaits you – during the day with the magnificent view of the Cabo Trafalgar, at night the over-whelming star-filled sky of Andalusia.
Atlanterra is a jewel located next to the old, charming fishing village of Zahara de losAtunes on the Costa de la Luz. This part of Andalusia has remained free of mass tourism. Time spent here is an exceptional experience through the original atmosphere of this Coast of the Light, with time to relax and dream.
